At the end of this season both Cross Keys and Llandovery finished in the bottom 2 places, this would normally have meant relegation to Division 1 but as the WRU introduced a criteria for entry to the Premiership and both clubs finishing top of Division 1 east & west (Beddau and Bonymaen) did not meet this Criteria both the Drovers and The Keys were saved from relegation.
